“there is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish; but what good are these for so many?”

                            (JOHN 6:9)

The miracle of the Loves and Fishes is the only one of Our Lord’s miracles that is recorded six times in the Gospel. It carries two important messages.  First, no matter how little we have, we always have enough to share.  Second, Christ can take our humble gifts and do great things with them if we are just willing to let Him.

 The rosary crusade

Archbishop Burke has launched throughout the Archdiocese “A Rosary Crusade” that will safeguard embryonic human life and help prevent human cloning.  You are needed as a prayer crusader.  We need every Catholic to implore Our Lady of Quadalupe through the power of the Rosary to combat the culture of death that threatens the lives of our youngest brothers and sisters.  Members of the Crusade pledge to faithfully pray the Rosary from now until November 7, 2006. To join the Crusade please sign the pledge poster in the back of Church, take a pamphlet and pledge to faithfully pray the Rosary from now until election day.  With your prayers and help we3 can defeat this amendment.  For more information call 314-792-7555.
