ST.
ANNE CHURCH,
FRENCH VILLAGE, MO.
Thank you to all who endured the heat and attended our OUT DOOR MASS. Most
agreed that it was a pleasant change. Thank you for helping to straighten up.
ATTENTION: Some of our parishioners have expressed an interest in
starting a St. Anne Choir. If you are interested please sign the sheet in the back of
Church. You may also contact Joe Mondello at 358-3482 or Jean Carron at 358-8792.
Please welcome to our parish family,Gracie Sue Branning, Blake
Austin Goforth, Cathryn Elizabeth Isgrigg and Aynsley Camille Weiss. May God bless them on
their pilgrimage of faith and may their families continue to lead them and be a witness to
Gods love.
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed every Friday
beginning at 5:00p.m. The rosary will be recited at 6:00p.m. Start your weekend with a
spiritual boost.
The monthly Vincentian Marian Youth Encounter is happening on
Sunday, July 18th at the Miraculous Medal Shrine Church in Perryville. Bring a
friend and join us in worshipping God in song and prayer! Faith Alive begins at 6:00p.m.
with Mass to follow. Please join us!
FOR YOUR INFORMATION
The Festival is over and all of you who gave so generously
of your time might have been asked to pick up something at the store for the Festival.
During the course of the year some of you are asked to volunteer your time for a project
that will help the parish. The problem is that we are getting a lot of bills. Bills that
we did not expect have arrived. The policy, as required by the Archdiocese, is that before
you buy anything for the parish, which you expect to be reimbursed for, now requires a
Purchase Order prior to the purchase. The bottom line is: "Before you buy anything
come by the office and get a Purchase Order from the bookkeeper."
This will not only help us keep in line with our budget but many
places do not require us to pay taxes. Over the coming year that will be a sizeable
savings. I am counting on your co-operation in this matter.
Thank you for all that you do!
Father John
