STEWARDSHIP ALIVE!

“Brothers and sisters:  The Spirit comes to the aid of our weakness…”                                      Romans 8:26

Living as “Christ-centered” stewards rather that self-centered consumers is not easy.  It is often difficult to put God’s call before our own personal wants.  Yet, we can turn to the Spirit in our weakness.  This week, why not try praying daily for the strength to be a better steward.

INTERCESSIONS FOR LIFE

Man has within him the breath of God. He is capable of relating to God; he can pass beyond material creation.  He is unique.   He stands in the sight of God and is in a special sense directed toward God…  It is most important to see this special creation by God in order to perceive the uniqueness and value of man and, thereby, the basis of all human rights.  These give man a reverence for him and others.  God’s breath is within Him.  He sees that he is not a combination of biological building blocks, but a personal conception of God.

Pope Benedict XVI,                             God and the World, p.77

ECHARISTIC ADORATION

Eucharistic Adoration this Friday, July 22nd from 4:30p.m. to 6:00p.m.  Everyone is asked to come and spend some time in the presence of God.
