The Youth Group will continue to meet during the summer, each Wednesday from 7:00p.m. until 8:30p.m. If you are in the 7^th grade through high school, please come and join them. Activities and special events are being planned.

We would like to welcome Michelle Nelson, who began her work as new Youth Minister on June 5^th.

Julie King, a familiar face to us has been giving of her time and talent to work with the youth for the past couple of months. Julie will continue to work with our new Youth Minister. THANKS, JULIE!

St. Maurus Parish in Biehle, Mo. will host their annual Homecoming and Picnic on Saturday, June 29^th. Mass will begin at 4:00p.m. The buffet dinner of fried chicken, dressing, kettle beef and all the trimmings will be served from3:00p.m. until 7:30p.m. – rain or shine-

WARREN AND MARY LOU LODHOLZ CELEBRATE THEIR 50^TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Warren and Mary Lou Lodholz, life-long parishioners of St. Joseph until 1997,will renew their wedding vows on Saturday, June 22 at the 5:15p.m. Mass. As parishioners, they served St. Joseph in many areas. Warren has served as president of the Parish Council, chairman of the Archdiocesan Development Appeal, Lector, Usher and was Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus for two years. Mary Lou was also active and was a member of the choir, Daughters of Isabella and a teacher of Catechism Classes. We wish to congratulate them on this remarkable accomplishment in their lives. Celebrant will be Father Tom Wissler.

BONNE TERRE NUTRITIONAL CENTER

The Bonne Terre Nutritional Center has served the senior citizens of Bonne Terre and surrounding areas for a long time. They are now asking for our help!

The people that are available to volunteer have decreased. Your help is needed to deliver meals on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to those that are confined to their homes. Help is also needed to serve lunch at the Center on Tuesday and Wednesday. You would only have to donate an hour or an hour and a half of your time.

This is a valuable service. You could donate a little of your time please call Kathy Rawson at 358-3726.

You are invited to a Healing Mass at Blessed John XXIII Center on Sunday, June 30^th at 3:00p.m. There will be priests available for Confession at 2:15P.M. All Masses have many graces for healing but a Healing Mass has the additional blessing of teams of praying for individual needs following Eucharist. May the power of the risen

It is time for the Respect Life Committee to have its annual Baby Shower/Coffee and Donuts, on Sunday, July 7^th.

This year Parkland Medical Center has a need for car seats for the newborn. It is a Federal Law that a legal car seat must be available or the baby cannot leave the hospitable. The car seats are priced between $40.00 - $60.00 each.

If you are a member of St. Joseph, St. Anne Parish or a visitor, please let me invite you to our annual Festival. Our festivities will begin at 11:00a.m. on Sunday, June 23. We offer a delicious meal of Fried Chicken, Kettel Beef and all the fixings.

For the first time "Our Chance of A Life Time" Drawing will be held. The winner will receive $10,000.00. A last minute ticket can still be purchased for only $100.00. Two or more people can go together to purchase a ticket and split the winnings.
