Stewardship Trinity Sunday

"But when He comes, the Spirit of truth, He will guide you to all truth." JOHN 16:13

Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to help us know the truth. So why not ask the Holy Spirit the truth about your stewardship? Are you sharing your time and talent with God and others? Do you give a fair amount of your treasure to do the work of the Lord? Can you hear the Spirit’s answer to those questions in your heart now? What more is He calling you to do?

Congratulations

Congratulations to all of our graduates. Have a safe and enjoyable summer vacation and visit www.archstl.org for a Mass guide while traveling in state and www.masstimes.org when planning a vacation outside Missouri.

Eucharistic Adoration

The celebration of the Eucharistic Adoration  will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, June 4th, and conclude with Benediction at 5:00 p.m.

Thank you to all who work and those who support the Parish Bingo. Come and have some fun with us on Thursday evenings. You might even win the jackpot! Also, we can always use some extra helping hands. Everyone is welcome!

Picnic – 2010

It is that time again! Mark your calendar for Sunday, June 13, 2010 and share in the fun and fellowship of the St. Anne Picnic, French Village. We will be serving fried chicken, kettle beef and liver dumplings. The dinner tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children. You may dine in our air-conditioned hall or outside in the screened in area. There will be a Live Band and games for adults and children. Bingo will begin at 1:00 p.m. The top raffle prize is $1,000 cash. Our festivities start at 11:00 a.m. and continue until 5:00 p.m.

Bring your family and friends - we have something for everyone.

Thank you to all who have donated to the Country Store/Fancy Stand. We are still in need of handcrafted gifts, books, homemade jellies, jams, relishes, and gently used items.

We will need volunteers to assemble at 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne this Saturday, June 5th, to help clean the kitchen and get our grounds ready for the picnic.

Spot Light on Our Advertisers

Save-A-Lot Food Store in Bonne Terre offers great food at great prices to save you money. They are open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday the doors open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. Pick up your groceries at Save-A-Lot and support a parishioner owned business.

We appreciate all of our advertisers and will spot light more businesses in the coming weeks.

Memorial Day Prayer

Dear Lord,

On this day, we remember thosewho have served us by protecting our freedoms. When we celebrate our long weekend

with our friends and family, help us remember, that our freedom to speak of you, and our freedom to worship you, and our freedom to do that which we ought to do, have all been bought at the price and sacrifice of many lives.

Your Son died for our eternal life in heaven. So too, your children died protecting us here on earth. Help us be mindful this weekend and always of the sacrifices made by those in uniform forall our freedoms.

Amen.

Glennon Sunday Collection

Each year, Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center cares for thousands of children who might not otherwise receive such expert medical care. Please be a friend by making a gift to the hospital’s annual Glennon Sunday Collection on June 5 – 6. Thank you for caring.
