May 23     Team # 4

ST. ANNE CHURCH,
FRENCH VILLAGE, MO.

Our “PICNIC” is just around the corner.  Help is still needed.  Each family has been asked to bring 3 pies and/or cakes.  (preferably home made) to the Church on the morning of the “PICNIC”.  All ladies are asked to come to the Church on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at 8:00a.m. to begin food preparation. Thanks to everyone who helped in the kitchen in the past years. Any help this year in the kitchen would be greatly appreciated.  If you have any question please call Mary Werner at 573-483-9693.

Don’t forget items for the Country Store.  Flyers are still in the back of Church.  Please pick up a few and pass them out.

The Board of Advisors meeting will be May 24, 2005

Thank you for your patience while the Church is being painted.

OUR LADIES SODALITY

Congratulations ladies on a job well done for First Friday Eucharistic.  All time slots were filled.  We could still use more people next month.

Beginning in June our regular scheduled meeting will be moved to the 3rd. Tuesday of each month.  The reason we are changing is to help the “BINGO”.  Mary Wood won the “Pretty Baby Contest”. The Sodality will set up teams led by a Eucharistic Minister to visit the shut-ins o a regular basis.  Next months meeting will be followed by games.  Bring your cards, games etc.  Please continue to collect unused rosaries.

Todd Andrew Walter, son of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Walter and Nicole Elizabeth Rose Pratte, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Geoffrey Pratte will be married at St. Joseph Church, Bonne Terre, Mo. on June 11, 2005 at 2:00p.m. Second notice.

HOME AND SCHOOL AUCTION

A big “THANK YOU” to our Home and School Organization for working so hard on making this year’s Home & School Auction another big success.  A total amount of $14,264.00 has been given to the parish to help support our school.  A special thanks to everyone who supported this school fundraiser in any way.  Your generosity and support of our school will always be appreciated.

This is just a reminder, for anyone who is not familiar with the ‘RESERVED PARKING” signs in the front and back of church.  Each year at the Home & School Auction bids are taken for the “RESERVED PARKING” spaces for all the MASSES during the year.  The highest bidder receives the privilege of parking in that space for the entire year.  Please keep this in mind when you are tempted to park in the reserved parking space.

FESTIVAL 2005

The COUNTRY STORE could use your help.  If you have any items for the COUNTRY STORE

Please drop them off at the Rectory.  We need hand made items, jams, jellies, fresh fruits, jewelry, books, hand made crafts, small items for the Parcel Post.  Any size baskets and gift bags, ribbons and bows. Items must be in good condition, clean (ready to use). If you need any other information about your donation please call 431-0097.
