We would like to thank the Knight of Columbus, the Ladies Auxiliary and the Home and School for their hard work during the Lenten Fish Fry. The food was outstanding this year and we had larger crowds. The Knights presented Father John with a check for $7,100.00 at the Knights of Columbus Palm Sunday breakfast. All proceeds go to our school. Again, thanks to those who supported this fund raiser.

BINGO NEWS

The St. Joseph Bingo was able to give $5,000.00 to the Parish for St. Joseph School. We would like to extend a Thank You to all the workers who are so dedicated.

MERCY SUNDAY – A DAY OF GRACE

You won’t want to miss a very special celebration on the Feast of Divine Mercy, April 18th (the first Sunday after Easter). Our Lord promised St. Fautstina that he would pour down His Mercy on all who celebrate this Day. This special day of Grace Program consists of videos that feature some of the greatest spiritual leaders of our time, including Pope John Paul II. Plan now to bring your entire family and your neighbors to be part of a whole worldwide campaign to draw the Mercy of God down upon your family and country. Come join us at Immaculate Conception Church, Park Hills from 2:00p.m. – 4:00p.m. We will not have a Mass.

CHURCH NEWS
YOU ARE INVITED

St. Agnes Parish in Bloomsdale, Mo will offer a "Life in the Spirit" seminar on Thursday evenings, April 22 through May 27th. The seminar will offer an experience that will bless you richly, giving you a deeper relationship with Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. Please contact Anne Marie Wodraska at 573-483-2085, Lenora Basler at 573-483-9545, or Shirley Hoye at 573-883-5237 to register.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

During my visit to St. Louis for the announcement of my appointment as the Archbishop of St. Louis, I was pleased to visit Regina Cleri and meet our retired and disabled priests who reside there. Throughout the years of their priesthood, these men have given dedicated service to the people of the Archdiocese through their work in our many parishes and institutions.

I express my deep gratitude for your consistently generous support of our retired and infirm priests – especially through the annual Easter Collection – which is taken up is all our parishes. This special offering, along with the support of the Archdiocesan Development Appeal, makes it possible for us to maintain Regina Cleri as a residence for our priests in retirement.

Today, April 11, 2004 the annual Easter Collection for Regina Cleri will be taken up throughout the Archdiocese. I thank you in anticipation, knowing that your generosity to this collection will truly make a difference for our retired and infirm priests.

Asking God’s blessing upon you and your homes, I remain

Yours devotedly in Christ,

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
