St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School has been selected by the Knights of Columbus Catholic Education Grant. Our School will receive $500.00. This is most generous and greatly appreciated. St. Joseph School also had a very successful Book Fair. We made over $900.00. Thank you to all who purchased the set of Cookbooks. This was a huge success and helped put us well over our amount sold last year.

Next Sunday, April 13, The Knights of Columbus will have a special Palm Sunday Mass at 10:00a.m. Members of the Knights of Columbus will participate in the Liturgical roles for the Celebrant.

Following Mass, the Knights of Columbus will meet in the church hall for their Awards Breakfast.

WE BELIEVE IN
JESUS CHRIST
WEEK 6
HIS KINGDOM
WILL HAVE NO END

…RESPONDING IN FAITH

The parables of the mustard seed and the yeast teach us that the Kingdom of God had humble beginnings but is destined to expand and embrace the entire world. The parables of the buried treasure and the pearl of great price teach us the supreme value of the Kingdom. Jesus Christ inaugurated the Kingdom of heaven, a kingdom that Jesus reveals in his words and works and presence. The Kingdom shines forth in the prayers, sacraments, and good works of the Church, but its completion is yet to come. We anticipate its completion when we respond in faith and love to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This week marks the conclusion of Season Two in the We Believe…series. Be sure to join your small group for its last gathering until next fall. Season Three in the We Believe…series is entitled We Believe in the Holy Spirit. It will be offered this coming fall and is scheduled to begin the week of Sunday, October 12, 2003.

A Blood Drive will be held by the Red Cross on Tuesday, April 8th at the Sonrise Baptist Church from 2:00p.m. until 6:00p.m.
