Spot Light on Our Advertisers

Whenever possible, please support the advertisers on the back of our bulletin. One of our sponsors,

C. Clifford Schwartz, is an Attorney at Law who together with his wife have been long time parishioners. Mr. Schwartz is an experienced attorney if you are in need of legal assistance.

We appreciate all of our advertisers and will spot light more businesses in the coming weeks.

The Missouri History Museum in St. Louis will host "Vatican Splendors: A Journey through Faith and Art" from May 15 to September 12. Regina Cleri Collection

We have received the following letter:
To the Faithful of the Archdiocese of St. Louis Alleluia! He is Risen!

These words have resounded throughout history for more than 2,000 years and they resonate in our hearts today as we celebrate the glorious feast of Easter.

For those of us who have truly responded to Christ’s call for prayer, sacrifice, and almsgiving during our Lenten journey, this is indeed a time of great joy and hope.

The feast of Easter is the highpoint of the liturgical year and is a reminder of our own potential resurrection.

Let us continue to pray for each other and resolve to spread the Good News of the Resurrection in our daily lives.

I ask for your generous response to the Regina Cleri Collection taken today in all our parishes. The retired priests have served us well and need our prayerful, as well as financial support.

Sincerely yours in Christ,
Most Reverend Robert J. Carlson Archbishop of St. Louis

Be Not Afraid – There is Truth

The St. Louis Chapter of Legatus, along with the Archdiocese, will sponsor the Father John Corapi Conference on Saturday, May 1, 2010. The theme for this year’s conference is Be Not Afraid –

There is Truth. The conference will include four presentations by Father Corapi and Mass with Archbishop Carlson. Father Corapi is currently engaged in teaching the Catholic faith through multi-media formats, including a program on the EWTN network and has reached millions with the simple message that God’s Name is Mercy. Please call 800-293-5949 to purchase tickets.
