WELCOME!!

Please celebrate and welcome to our parish family, Sally Hosking, who was baptized on Sunday, March 4th. May God bless her on her pilgrimage of faith and may her family continue to lead her and be a witness to God’s love.

CATHOLIC RELIEF SERVICES COLLECTION

This weekend our parish will take up The Catholic Relief Services Collection. Nearly half the world’s population lives on less that $2 a day. For Catholics, these are not just statistics but brothers and sisters who need our help. The Catholic Relief Services Collection supports church agencies that provide emergency relief in times of crisis, support long-term development programs, offer assistance to immigrants and refugees, and advocate for a more just and peaceful world. Please give generously.

LENTEN FISH FRY

Three Fridays left in Lent!! You are invited to come to the terrific fish dinner served by our Knights every Friday during Lent at their hall on Berry Rd. Carryout is available. Adults - $7.00 – Children - $3.00. Serving begins at 4:00pm. All proceeds benefit the school.

THE HELPING HAND
THRIFT STORE

The workers at the Helping Hand Thrift Store are volunteers. Through various reasons a level has been reached that requires these volunteers to work 2 or 3 times per week just so we can stay open. A shift is only 3 hours.

Some may feel like Helping Hand is not important. Comments that we have heard from the customers who depend on it to clothe their families would soon change your mind.

If you would like to help this Ministry, please come to The Helping Hand Thrift Store any Wednesday from 9:00 am until noon. Just ask for Jeanette. You may also call Jeanette at (573-915-3150). Any help would be greatly appreciated

CAREER OPPORTUNITY

The Knights of Columbus is seeking a Field Agent for a career opportunity representing their insurance program. They offer a complete benefits package with this full time position. In order to qualify, one must be eligible for membership in the Knights of Columbus. For more information, please contact Robert King, FICF, general agent at (636-239-1016).

ADOPT AN ANGEL PROGRAM

Have you noticed a blue colored envelope in your March packet labeled "Adopt An Angel?" This program was started many years ago to help families who struggle financially to send their children to St. Joseph School. Funds from the program provide tuition assistance to children attending kindergarten through sixth grade. In the past, this assistance has helped many children who otherwise would not be able to attend St. Joseph School. Because of the significance of the program, the "Adopt An Angel" envelope will be included in your future monthly packet. Please pray over this and know that any assistance you can provide will greatly benefit the continued success of the program.
