In the 25 years which have passed since the judicial decision legalizing abortion in your country, their has been a widespread mobilization of consciences in support of life.  The pro-life movement is one on the most positive aspects of American public life, and the support given it by the bishops is a tribute to your pastoral leadership.
 

JUST A FRIENDLY REMINDER: We have a few ladies that have not renewed their membership for 2006.  IT IS NOT TOO LATE!  You may bring your dues by the church rectory or simply mail to Dorothy Gouin, at 418 N. Long St. Bonne Terre, Mo. 63628.  The Daughters of Isabella would like to thank those who have paid for 2006.  The dues remain the same $10.00 a year.

ATTENTION PARENTS 

Grant and Aid applications are now available for the 2006/2007 school year for families interested in sending their children to a Catholic School.  Please contact the parish office if you would like a grant application and instructions. There is an April 1^st. deadline, so don’t delay.   For more information, please contact the parish office.

Just a reminder to RSVP for our meeting February 21, 2006 at 6:30p.m.  We are serving dinner with that special fried chicken and we need an attendance count.

The boxes are in place at both St. Anne and St. Joseph for toys that we would like to collect for the children entering the local hospitals.  They will certainly be appreciated.

St. Vincent DePaul meeting for March 2006 will be held in the Church Hall.  The meeting will begin at 11:00.a.m. on Friday, March 10^th.   Please mark your calendar.

“THE ST. Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Joseph School: 

For those of you who didn’t hear the pulpit announcement this is to inform everyone that our school will be open for the 2006/2007 school year.  Within the next month contracts will be offered and we will have a staff committed for the coming year. 

Everyone who Promoted, Prayed and Paid for the coming year, my heartfelt thanks and may God’s blessing be upon you and yours.  I think that when we placed it in God’s hands He inspired you and I to do His will. 

We are not out of the woods yet.  This is not an end to our financial concerns.  However, we do have a year to be creative and to let God’s love and generosity flow through the veins of our school as always.
                

FINANCIAL AIFD INFORMATION 

Any Catholic family wishing to apply for tuition assistance through the Archdiocese for the 2006/2007 school year must obtain a “FACTS” application from the rectory.  Students must attend a Parochial Elementary School or an Archdiocesan, Regional or Parochial High School to be eligible.  The due date for the application is April 1. 2006 and must include a copy of your 2005 Income tax Return.
