Tuition Assistance

Any Catholic family wishing to apply for tuition assistance through the Archdiocese for the 2009-2010 school year must obtain a "FACTS" application from the rectory. Students must attend a Parochial Elementary School or an Archdiocesan, Regional or Parochial High School to be eligible. The due date for the application is April 1, 2009 and must include a copy of your 2008 Income Tax Return. Grants for the 2009-2010 school year are made possible through the generosity of the Annual Catholic Appeal. The Catholic Education office appreciates the support of the ACA and all of its donors.

Vincentian Marian Youth

A Vincentian Marian Youth Encounter is scheduled for Sunday, February 8, 2009, at the Shrine Church in Perryville, MO. The evening will start with "Faith Alive" at 6 p.m. Mass featuring contemporary Christian music follows with Father Rickey Valleroy as the main celebrant. Donations of clothing or household items will be accepted at this event and will be distributed to the Hosea House. The evening ends with food, fun, sharing, and laughter in the visitor’s center.

WWME Sweetheart Dance

All current and alumni members of WorldWide Marriage Encounter (and anyone interested in learning more about WWME) are invited to attend the annual Sweetheart Dance on Valentine’s Day, February 14. The evening will start with Mass at 6:30 p.m. at Blessed Theresa of Calcutta in Ferguson, Mo. with dance immediately following. Catholic Men for Christ

The Second Annual Catholic Men for Christ Conference will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at the America’s Center in downtown St. Louis. Speakers will address the struggles and challenges that Christian men face today and will offer practical tools and strategies for overcoming them. Junior High Night at St. Pius X

St. Pius X High School invites 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8thgraders to attend a Girls’ Game on Thursday, February 12 at 6:00 p.m. Wear your school’s spirit wear and bring in this bulletin for free admission.

Daughters of Isabella

Our February meeting will be held Monday, February 9, 2009. We will have an Italian dinner with lasagna and fettuccini. Please bring a side dish or dessert to complement the main course.
