CHURCH IN CENTRAL AND

EASTERN EUROPE

Next weekend the second collection will go to aid the Church in Central and Eastern Europe. In this part of the world the Church, emerging from 70 years of communist rule, is vigorously involved in rebuilding the faith of its people. Proceeds from the collection, sponsored by the Bishops of the United States, are used for:

Supporting religious education programs

Training seminarians

Expanding social ministries and rebuilding churches, convents and schools.

Your generosity can help provide the resources to grow and nourish the faith in this section of the world.

ST. JOSEPH SCHOOL

YOUR DAILY PRAYERS

Please remember in your daily prayers all the Teachers and Administrator’s of our schools, all the members of our Church committees that serve so generously and give of their time and talent, please remember especially Connie Westendorf, Dave Knotts, and Elmer Deterding.

God has truly blessed us by forming us into His Church Family, St. Joseph and St. Anne parishes. In a family everyone is loved and is needed to help and care for each other. We do not volunteer on a optional basis, that is, when it is convenient, but because we love our family.

God has called all of us to be one family. Each member of St. Joseph and St. Anne parish is needed not just to be a consumer of services but to love and serve as Jesus would.

During our Stewardship program, imagine our Lord asking you to use your gifts of Time, Talent and Treasure to love and help our family.

We thank you for praying, loving and working together so hard, not only in the past but also in the future.

Father John
