This weekend you are asked to renew your subscription to our Archdiocesan newspaper, the St. Louis Review. Please use the envelope provided in your packet and return it, with the $19.00 subscription fee, in the second collection. The Parish will provide the subscription fee for any family wanting to receive the Review, but who is unable to meet the fee. However, we cannot do so without you letting us know that you desire to receive it. Please return the Review envelope with either YES of NO on it. In order to process renewals in a timely manner, please return them in the collection basket THIS WEEKEND OR NEXT.

An error in printing some of the envelopes has come to our attention. The cost of the Review is $19.00 for the year. If your envelope has another amount printed on it, please make your check for $19.00.

EMBRACE LIFE with the warmth of your affection and the support that will help those in distress. The LIFELINE COALTION 2002 campaign responds to this call of Pope John Paul II by offering positive and real alternatives to assist women who are experiencing a crisis or unplanned pregnancy, to choose life. Next Sunday we will have a special collection for LIFELINE COALITION. Envelopes will be in the pews. Please EMBRACE LIFE with your generous support.

ROSES FOR LIFE: Today, the Knights of Columbus will be distributing ROSES FOR LIFE before Mass. Please sign and return the Roses in the second collection today along with your contribution. The ROSES will be sent to our Congressmen to show our support for Pro-Life. All proceeds will benefit Birthright. Thank you for your generosity.

PRO-LIFE COMMEMORATIVE

MASS AND VIGIL

On Saturday, January 19 at 8:00a.m., the Archdiocesan Pro-Life Committee and the Helpers of God’s Precious Infants will sponsor a Mass at the

Cathedral Basilica commemorating the 1973 Supreme Court decision (Roe v. Wade). Please plan to join Archbishop Rigali, Father John and Deacon Ron. For Catholic Schools Week, January 28 through February 1, a " Wall of Fame" is being constructed at St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School to honor those who have graduated from the school. If you would like to participate, please call the school office at (573) 358-5947 with your name and date of your graduation. Deadline for submission is Wednesday, January 23, 2002. We look forward to a lot of calls.

CiCi’s Pizza in Farmington is a great place to eat. They have graciously agreed to designate the second Monday of the month to St. Joseph School and Church in Bonne Terre from 3:00p.m. until closing. If you buy a pizza or dine in, just mention St. Joseph’s name at the register and we will receive 10% of the receipts recorded that evening. This is an excellent opportunity to help our School and have a night out! Looking forward to seeing you on Monday, January 14th.
