Thank you to each and every one who helped Make the Christmas Liturgy, at St. Joseph Parish, so meaningful: those who cleaned, decorated and set up the church: the Choir for a wonderful Cantata : all those who helped fill the extra liturgical roles: the Knights of Columbus Council 1088 for the nativity scene by the North County elementary school: those who contributed toward the purchase of Christmas flowers: the many parishioners who selected giving tree ornaments and made someone’s Christmas brighter: and all those who attended and participated in Mass. A personal "Thank You" from Father John and Deacon Ron for the many cards, gifts and prayers during this Holiday Season. May God bless each of you for your thoughtfulness.

ST ANNE PARISH
FRENCH VILLAGE, MO.

A special Thank You to all who helped make this year’s Christmas Liturgy special at St. Anne. To those who decorated and cleaned the church: the ones who contributed to the liturgical roles: the extra effort of those that helped with the Nativity scenes both inside and out. An individual "Thank You" to all the parishioners for the cards, gifts and prayers received by Father John and Deacon Ron. May God continue to bring you peace, happiness and joy.

Sr. Elaine AuBuchon, a School Sister of Notre Dame, and Sr. Gail Borgmeyer, a Pallotine Sister, who work with the Criminal Justice Ministry (CJM) of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in St. Louis, will be present for all the Masses this weekend. They will speak briefly after Mass about ministry needs that parishioners might want to consider at the new prison here. Some needs involve direct service within the prison, others can be done from home.

Sr. Elaine, a native of Bonne Terre, serves as the Volunteer Coordinator of CJM. Sr. Gail also assists with various volunteer needs in the 4 prisons and 10 county jails of the archdiocese. In addition to being available after the Masses, they are also available to speak to groups, no matter how small. Simply contact them at 314-241-8062.

On the weekend of January 11-12, we will accept renewals for subscriptions to the St. Louis Review. The rate this year is $21.00 and there is an envelope provided in your packet. If you are now receiving the Review but do not want to receive it in 2003, please write NO on your envelope and return it, in the collection basket, on, or before the January 11-12 weekend.

It’s that time of year again, when we look forward to a new year, and share with you some of the statistics from the old year. Total number of Baptisms, Marriages and First Communions during 2002 are:

As the year ends, many requests have gone unpublished.
