ATTENTION! The first Parish Council meeting will be Monday, January 5 at
7:00P.M.. The Parish Council is planning our annual Appreciation Dinner on January 10,
2004. This is an attempt to thank everyone "For All That You Do". Please mark
your calendars and plan to attend. It will begin after Mass on Saturday. Everyone is
invited.
ROSES FOR LIFE: The Knights of Columbus will be distributing Roses for
Life at all the Masses on this week-end. Signed roses will go to Pro-Choice elected
officials. A second collection will be taken up which will go to Birthright. Please put
your donation and signed roses in the second collection. Your help and generosity is
greatly appreciated.
The Daughters of Isbella meeting will be held on January 12 at 7:00p.m..
The rosary will begin at 6:45p.m.

Congratulations, to Betty and Roger Turley who celebrated their 52nd.
wedding anniversary on Saturday, January 3, 2004. Roger and Betty were married on January
3, 1952, at Holy Name Parish in St. Louis by Fr. Roberts. Before coming to St. Annes
Parish, Betty and Roger were members of St. JosephChurch in Kimmswick. TheTurley's have 4
children, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Our apologies for overlooking their 50th
anniversary.
Its that time of year again, when we look forward to a
new year, and share with you some of the statistics from the old year. Total number of
Baptisms, Marriages and First Communions during 2003 are:

ST. JOSEPH: Baptisms: 22; Professions of Faith 3; Marriages: 8; First Communions: 8
As the year ends, many requests have gone unpublished. During the year many of
our parishioners have lost loved ones and requested that a special "Thank You"
be given to Father John, Deacon Ron and Deacon Don, members of the luncheon committees,
friends and all who have offered prayers and support during their time of sorrow. Our
deceased loved ones are: Carol Williamson, Lorraine Blankenship, Glenda Mae Cooper, Eileen
Akins, Robert Kastner, Joseph Goeke Jr.,Connie Brewer, Bernice Rosener, Ruby Jane
Shaw,Thelma Sewald, Albert Jack DeRousse, Maxine Bangert, Sylvester (Sonny) Reinhold,
Carolyn Harris, Theresa Whitehead, and Robert E. ONeal and any of our deceased loved
ones that we may have overlooked.
This week before Mass the ushers will pass out invitations to the 5th
annual Parish Appreciation Dinner. It will be held on Saturday, January 10th at
5:30p.m.
A wonderful meal and entertainment will be provided. This event is for all of
those who support the Parish so faithfully with their time, talent and treasure.
If you are a registered member and support your Parish, this event is for you.

back of church to drop in your reservation.
