ST. ANNE CHURCH
FRENCH VILLAGE, MO.

St. Anne Parish has been remembered in the will of Thomas F. Wilson. He is one of those wonderful people who remembered the works of his Church and his parish in his will.

Epiphany of The Lord

The joyous Christmas season reaches its high point with the Epiphany of our Lord. The word "epiphany" is of Greek derivation and means "manifestation". Today is the celebration of Jesus’ manifesting to all of the world His glory as Savior to all nations, symbolically through the Magi. Like the Magi, "We have seen his star in the east and have come with gifts to adore the Lord."

Christmas Giving Tree

Your kindness provided Christmas gifts for 80 children who would not received these gifts without your generosity. Thank you for making this a special Christmas for these children.

Ministry Schedules

The schedules for Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Servers, Ushers and Cross Bearers are available in the back of Church.

Catholic Devotional

Copies of "The Catholic Devotional" are available this weekend. Please help yourself to this collection of prayers and inspirational devotions.

St. Louis Review

The renewal envelope for the St. Louis Review is in your envelope packet this month. Please help your parish and renew the subscription. "The Review" is our Archdiocesan newspaper and provides us with Catholic oriented articles of local, national, and world-wide interest.

Please Support

Whenever possible, please support the advertisers on the back of our bulletin. We are grateful for the continued support of advertisers. Thank them and let them know you saw their ad.

Permanent Diaconate

It is my privilege to announce publicly that Mr. Mark A. Byington is a candidate for the major order of Sacred Diaconate, to be conferred Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral Basilica. Anyone who knows any reason why this candidate should not be ordained is bound to disclose this immediately. Please join me in prayer for Mark A. Byington and for each of the diaconate candidates, that these times of immediate preparation for ordination will be times of extra-ordinary grace and abiding peace.

Christmas Flower Offering

Thank you to everyone who used the Christmas Flower envelope in your December packet. Your gift helped us to purchase the beautiful poinsettias for our altar during the Christmas season. Your deceased loved ones were remembered in our prayers at the celebration of the Mass on Christmas.

Tax Statements

The Parish Office will soon begin preparing tax statements. If you have received a statement in the past, one will be automatically generated for you. If you have not requested one in the past, please call the Parish Office.
